ASP Programmer

Job Description

We are looking for a skilled ASP Programmer to join our development team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and maintaining web applications using Classic ASP and/or ASP.NET technologies. You will work closely with our IT and business teams to build scalable and secure solutions.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain web applications using Classic ASP and/or ASP.NET (VBScript/C#/VB.NET)

Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code

Troubleshoot and resolve bugs, performance issues, and security vulnerabilities

Collaborate with designers, project managers, and other developers

Integrate databases (primarily Microsoft SQL Server) and ensure data consistency

Participate in code reviews, testing, and deployment processes

Maintain and improve legacy ASP applications as needed

Stay up to date with emerging technologies and industry trends

Requirements

Proven experience in Classic ASP and/or ASP.NET development

Strong understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and VBScript

Proficiency in Microsoft SQL Server, including stored procedures and query optimization

Familiarity with IIS (Internet Information Services) and web hosting environments

Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git, SVN)

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Ability to work independently and in a team environment

[Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field is preferred]

Nice to Have

Experience with .NET Core, MVC architecture, or web APIs

Knowledge of modern frontend frameworks (React, Angular, etc.)

Familiarity with DevOps and CI/CD pipelines
